Former Pakistani captain, Shahid Afridi, recently shared his views on Babar Azam’s status as a great batter. According to Afridi, the 28-year-old captain needs to showcase his match-finishing abilities if he wants to be included in the same league as AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.
Afridi acknowledged that there is no doubt about Babar’s class as an all-format cricketer, but he emphasized the importance of finishing games to cement one’s place among the greats. The former all-rounder also praised Babar’s skills and considered him to be one of the pride of the Pakistan cricket team.
