Peshawar Zalmi Sets 199 Runs Target for Karachi Kings
Karachi Kings faced Peshawar Zalmi in their second match of PSL 8, winning the toss and choosing to bowl first. Peshawar Zalmi set a target of 199 runs for Karachi Kings, losing 5 wickets in the process. In response, Karachi Kings scored 197 runs, losing 5 wickets and the match by just 2 runs.

Tam-Cadmore’s Fastest Fifty Leads Peshawar Zalmi to Victory
At the start of the inning, Peshawar Zalmi lost two wickets of Muhammad Haris and Saim Ayub for just 16 runs. Captain Babar Azam and Tam-Cadmore partnered and scored 139 runs in 81 balls. While Babar Azam scored 68 runs, Tam-Cadmore’s brilliant half-century with just 28 balls made him the fastest fifty-scorer in PSL 8. Karachi Kings lost the match despite Mir Hamza, Imran Tahir, and Andrew Tay taking one wicket each.
Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik’s Partnership Not Enough for Karachi Kings
Karachi Kings started poorly in the second inning, with Sharjeel Khan losing his wicket in the first ball. Haider and Qasim also faced batting difficulties and lost their wickets in just 46 runs. Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik then partnered, scoring 131 runs. Shoaib Malik scored a half-century, while Imad Wasim almost closed the match but failed to finish it. Karachi Kings lost the match by 2 runs.
Tamcadmore Awarded Man of the Match as PSL 8 Continues
Wahab Riaz and Jimmy neesh took two wickets each for Peshawar Zalmi, while Khurram Shahzad bowled well in the last over. Tamcadmore’s 92 runs made him the man of the match.
