Good News For Cricket Lovers, PSL 6 is set to resume in June, with the restart date likely to be about the 1st of this month, by the schedule. The PCB is scheduling the remaining matches of PSL 6 in Abu Dhabi after it was given the nod by the United Arab Emirates authorities.
PSL 6 is Set to Resume in June
The 6th edition of Pakistan’s domestic T20 competition was postponed in early March due to concerns Covid-19. PCB CEO Wasim Khan announced the postponement after 7 PSL franchise players tested positive for the virus, regardless of the contest’s safety protocols.
Resuming the Tournament as soon as June, but will undoubtedly be viewed as a member of a victory for the PCB. When PSL 5 has been postponed due to Covid-19 in March last year, it was taken until November for it to resume.

PCB’s Press Release Also Announced
The Launch of the PSL 6 schedule comes after a virtual Convention held by the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Board of Governors on Saturday. Alongside the news of this PSL’s return, the PCB’s press release also announced that the GoB approved the Launch of a PCB Hall of Fame.

PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani said, “There will be an initial intake of six ICC Cricket Hall of Famers, Hanif Mohammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Zaheer Abbas, who will be supplemented by three inductions in the PCB Hall of Fame each year starting from 16 October 2021. It is appropriate that these six extraordinary performers be the founding inductees as they continue to inspire the next generation of superstars.”
