Multan Sultans Make Impressive Comeback
In an exciting match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8, Multan Sultans made a remarkable comeback against Quetta Gladiators, with Rilee Rossouw’s explosive batting leading them to an easy victory.

Rossouw’s Eighth PSL Fifty
Rilee Rossouw played an exceptional inning of 78 not-out off just 42 balls, including nine boundaries and three maximums, to bring up his eighth PSL fifty off 33 balls. His excellent performance helped Sultans chase down 111 runs with nine wickets in hand.
Ihsanullah Takes Five Wickets
Ihsanullah, the 20-year-old bowler, took five wickets and conceded just 12 runs in his four overs, dominating in just his second match of the debut PSL season. His speedy deliveries and back-to-back wickets helped Sultans bowl out Gladiators for 110.
Sultans’ Other Pacer’s Contributions
Apart from Ihsanullah, Sultans’ other two pacers, Sameen Gul and Abbas Afridi, gave their side an early boost by claiming a wicket each. Sameen struck in his first over, while Abbas Afridi caught Abdul Wahid Bangalzai off-guard.
Quetta’s Innings
Quetta’s innings started with an aggressive batter Martin Guptill being sent packing by Sameen Gul after scoring seven runs. Sarfaraz Ahmed lost his wicket to Ihsanullah’s fiery delivery, and Jason Roy was sent packing after scoring 27 runs.

Multan’s Innings
In defense of the paltry target, Nuwan Thushara trapped Shan Masood for an lbw in the second over. Still, Rilee Rossouw took charge of the run-chase, hitting boundaries. Rossouw and Mohammad Rizwan partnered strongly to score 108 runs together, leading Sultans to a nine-wicket victory in 13.3 overs.
