PSL 8: Multan Sultans’ Shahnawaz Dahani ruled out due to a finger injury
Multan Sultans’ pacer Shahnawaz Dahani has been ruled out of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 due to a finger injury. In a recent tweet, Dahani expressed his sadness about leaving his team and his fans and wrote that he would try to make a comeback as soon as possible.

Dahani’s absence is a significant blow to Sultans as they gear up to make a comeback against Quetta Gladiators after losing to Lahore Qalandars in the opening game. In the first game, Dahani suffered a finger injury that resulted in a fracture in his finger of the bowling hand.

Sultans’ updated squad
Sultans brought Mohammad Ilyas to replace Dahani for the remainder of the PSL 8. Ilyas, who went unpicked in the players’ draft for this edition, has claimed 55 wickets in 41 T20 matches for his young career.
In addition to Dahani, South Africa’s Wayne Parnell will also miss this year’s PSL due to injury, and Brathwaite has joined the squad in his place.
