Shifting Venues from Lahore and Rawalpindi to Karachi
However, reports suggest that the fans of Lahore and Rawalpindi may not be able to witness the PSL action as the PCB might shift the venues from the cities of Punjab to Karachi for the remaining matches. The decision to move the matches is expected to be made due to the high cost of staging the league in Punjab.
Punjab Govt’s Demands for Organizing PSL Matches
The Punjab government has demanded a whopping amount of Rs. 50 crore for organizing the remaining matches of PSL 8. According to reports, the PCB has already paid Rs. 5 crore in terms of food expenses, but the Punjab government has demanded the immediate payment of the remaining Rs. 45 crore for security and lighting.

Urgent Meeting Between PCB and Franchises
The massive amount demanded by the Punjab government will be deducted from the profits of the franchises.
