Peshawar Zalmi has made a big move by adding Bangladesh’s all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, to their roster as a reserved supplementary pick for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 8.
Shakib, who recently captained Fortune Barishal in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023, will join the Zalmi squad and be available for selection in their first match against the Karachi Kings at the National Stadium in Karachi on February 14th.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Shakib will be available for Zalmi until February 26th.
Shakib had a solid performance in the BPL 2023, scoring 375 runs in 11 innings and taking 10 wickets in 13 matches.
Zalmi’s roster for PSL 8 includes some big names such as Babar Azam, Sherfane Rutherford, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Haris, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa. Partial replacements include Richard Gleeson and Peter Hatzoglou.
